Very excited to share this gorgeous wedding we recently shot at The Calile. It is an absolute dream to shoot at this stunning venue. Everywhere you look there is an epic shot (it’s easy to get distracted!). I photographed Kate’s brothers wedding a few years ago so it was great to reconnect and photograph a bunch of familiar faces.

Kate & Jason were married recently at the very cool Smoked Garage in Fortitude Valley Brisbane. The gorgeous sun filled room upstairs, filled with vintage furniture, motorbike parts and greenery was were the ceremony kicked off. Then it was downstairs for the epic reception. One of the highlights for 2021 was traveling out to Stanthorpe to capture the wedding of Kat & El at the Granite Belt Retreat and Brewery. Stanthorpe and nearby Girraween are one of our favourite winter weekend getaway locations so I was extremely excited to photograph out there. The day started off overcast with a few showers but the girls pushed forward with the outdoor ceremony. It paid off with beautiful soft light and only a bit of light rain. The sun peeked out for few sunset pics right at the end of the day. Perfect!

Fiona & Luke - Malt Dining Wedding

Fiona & Luke picked a perfect June afternoon to get married. They also picked two of my favourite Brisbane wedding venues to do it! The ceremony was held at The Gardens Club in the city botanic gardens and was followed by a reception at Malt Dining in the CBD. We split portrait time between the gardens and the city streets just to make sure we covered all bases.
