Brisbane couple Alana & Mike chose a venue close to their heart to get married – a family backyard in Buderim. As you will see this isn’t just any backyard, with its sweeping views of the Sunshine Coast, gorgeous light-filled Jacaranda tree, and plenty of space for a marque reception. Smiles, laughter, tears, surprises and an emergency dress repair moments before walking down the isle; this wedding had it all! Congratulations Alana & Mike!

Recently I had the opportunity to shoot with some of Brisbane’s best wedding creatives to promote the launch of The Supper Club – gorgeous wedding & event tableware hire. Factory 51 (a relatively new restaurant and wedding venue on Brisbane’s south side) fit the industrial – minimal brief perfectly with its exposed brick walls and polished concrete floors. Here is a small selection of my favourites from the day. Karissa & Chris are getting married in a couple of months at the beautiful Maleny Manor in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We had a great afternoon exploring some of the coast and forrest around Bribie Island. Can’t wait to photograph the wedding!

Jane & Michael - Brisbane Wedding

Jane & Michael held their ceremony and reception in the gorgeous heritage building of Restaurant Two. The whole day felt super relaxed, Jane getting ready across the road at Stamford Plaza and Michael at home. With a short intermission for some location photos in the city botanic gardens, we were back in time for some amazing food, heartfelt speeches and dancing. Congratulations Jane & Michael!
