Linda and Adam have an amazing bond that not even supporting different football teams can change. I could tell that friends and family are super important to them, not to mention their dogs who they made sure didn’t miss out on the occasion.
Having a wedding venue where everything is in the one place was also important to these two. They wanted their friends and family to relax, play some lawn games, enjoy great food and drink. Boomerang Farm in the Gold Coast Hinterland ticked all the right boxes, and not just for them. A hidden treehouse, a 100 year old barn, creeks, rainforests, grassy fields… all things that make a wedding photographer’s shutter-finger start to twitch.
The weather was that perfect mix of overcast with the sun peeking through at just the right moments, then after the sun went down and all the guests were seated at the reception the rain started. I grabbed some umbrellas and a spare groomsmen as a lighting assistant and headed outside for a couple of sparkly night portraits (see last few shots). Congratulations to Linda and Adam!
